The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros is based in Chicago and told as this series of small stories. I remember reading it soon after I moved from Chicago and loving the ways the author weaved these stories together.
I know the timing isn’t right for this album, but to me, this is so great to listen to as you read—Carlos Santana's Supernatural.
