Vampire-Repelling Garlic Dip

Made with kitchen staples, this delicious dip is guaranteed to keep the Vampires away! What more do you need in a Halloween treat?

Ingredients

2 cups chopped onions

1 cup of any of these: sour cream or mayonnaise or Greek-style yogurt

1 generous cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)

Kettle-style potato chips or veggie sticks for serving

To Make

Carmelize the onions in a large skillet. When they are lovely and golden brown, put into a food processor or blender while still warm. Pop the cloves out of the roasted garlic head and add to processor along with sour cream or mayo or yogurt. Add Parmesan and blue cheese if using. Blend until mixture comes together.

You can put the creamy mixture into a bowl and serve it right from the processor. BUT, if you really want to level-up, and have another few minutes, put the dip into an oven-proof casserole and warm in the oven at 200C/400F for 10-15 minutes.

Serve with Kettle-style potato chips or veggie sticks. Any leftover dip makes an amazing sandwich spread...though we doubt you'll have any!
